 5th grade math

5th grade has a strong focus on numeration, place value system, fractions, and calculations.  It is important to have a good foundation in these to help students be ready for higher level math skills.  We also work on problem solving strategies and skills.

6th grade math

6th grade starts to introduce students to the higher math skills and concepts that we need to be successful in our world.  Ratios and proportions are a large part of the Curriculum.  Also, numeration, algebra, statistics, geometry and, of course, always problem solving!
